Amy Menke and Meghan Dufault each scored two goals as the University of North Dakota women’s hockey teamed defeated previously unbeaten and No.1-ranked University of Minnesota 4-3 on Friday night in Ralph Engelstad Arena. The top line of Menke, Dufault and Becca Kohler finished the night with six points as UND upped its Western Collegiate Hockey Association record to 4-2-2-1 and 6-2-2 overall. Minnesota now stands at 9-1-0 (7-1-0-0 WCHA). North Dakota goaltender Shelby Amsley-Benzie made 13 of her 31 saves in the final period to preserve the victory. Brooke Garzone, Kelly Pannek and Dani Cameranesi scored for the Gophers. Minnesota goalie Amanda Leveille had 27 saves.
