After Sunday’s still painful Minnesota Vikings’ playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks, most of us who follow the Purple are again left shaking our heads. How can such a proud and storied franchise continue to have so many historic heartbreaks? Amidst the aftermath of that frigid football finale, it’s time to accept that this is simply a part of our culture. We must embrace our lot in life, rather than wallowing in self-pity.
So, if you’re truly a long-suffering Minnesota Viking fan, then you will no doubt ace this little quiz. I’m calling it “Matching Minnesota Misery” and your job, should you decide to accept it, is to match the misery with the correct year it occurred. Some younger participants make need help from Google. Good Luck! Because, as you know, Viking fans need all they can get!
