Grand Forks Red River High School’s boys and girls basketball teams advanced in the North Dakota East Region Tournament with home victories Tuesday night. The boys (14-8), behind Braeden Hanson’s 23 points, defeated Fargo Shanley 79-62, while the girls (19-3) topped Devils Lake 76-63. Austin Slaughter chipped in 18 points and Paul Miller 14 for the boys, who meet West Fargo tonight in Fargo. Lexi Robson led the girls with 27 points, while Danica Kemnitz added 12.
