The University of North Dakota men’s hockey team skated to a 2-2 tie with Michigan State University on Saturday night in Ralph Engelstad Arena. The tie came on the heels of a 4-3 defeat to the Spartans on Friday night. Zach Yon and Tucker Poolman scored goals for UND (7-5-3), while Thomas Ebbing and Patrick Khodorenko tallied for MSU (4-6-1). In the second of two overtimes to follow regulation play, MSU freshman defenseman Bob Rosburg scored 58 seconds into a 3-on-3 session, his third goal of the weekend to end the scoring. Cam Johnson had 17 saves in goal for the Fighting Hawks, and Ed Minney had 32 for the Spartans. UND returns to action Dec. 3, when it plays Boston College in New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
