Senior Faith Dooley blocked 10 shots and added nine kills without an error and Sydney Griffin chipped in with her seventh double-double of the season (26 assists, 10 digs) as the University of North Dakota women’s volleyball team won its 19th match out of 21 with a sweep of Eastern Washington University on Saturday afternoon in Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. The Fighting Hawks upped their Big Sky Conference record to 4-0 with the 25-15, 25-12, 25-20 sweep. EWU fell to 5-8 overall and 2-2 in the Big Sky. UND goes on the road for its next four matches facing Portland State and Sacramento State next week. (Check out more photos from Russ Hons here.)
