“Last Color of the Season”: Everything was overcast and in black and white, but I found this one tree that still had a bunch of fall leaves intact and used the leaves and branches to frame this B&W scene.
“Snowfall Along The Red River”: I liked the posts in the water with new snow on top to bring this image together.
“A Splash of Red”: I walked along the bank of the Red River and found these red ground bushes, which gave an interesting splash of color to this otherwise black-and-white scene.
“First Snow In Grand Forks”: I just liked this scene that I came upon with the snow sticking to the posts and cable between them. It all came down with no wind, which is unusual in our neck of the woods.
“A Walk Into The Snowy Woods”: Did a timed-selfie of me walking through these beautiful snow-capped trees on a path. The colors contrast with the black-and-white scene. Those are some cool camouflage pants, aren’t they?
Grand Forks photographer Dave Bruner has a knack for capturing scenic landscape images, as is demonstrated by these fantastic shots.
