The University of North Dakota women’s soccer team hung with the University of Portland for 68 minutes before Taryn Ries broke a scoreless tie to give the Pilots a 1-0 victory Friday afternoon at East Grand Forks Senior High. Porland (6-4-0) is a Division I power, having won two national titles. UND (6-2-1) returns to action next Sunday for a Summit League match at Oral Roberts University.
