RUSS HONS: Photo Gallery — University Of North Dakota Women’s Vs. Purdue University Fort Wayne

The University of North Dakota women’s volleyball team closed out its home schedule Saturday, falling 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-23), to Purdue Fort Wayne in Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. The Fighting Hawks (14-16 overall, 6-8 in the Summit League) have just one match remaining the regular season, holding the sixth-and-final spot that qualifies them for the conference’s postseason tournament entering the final week of play. Purdue Fort Wayne (15-12 overall, 6-7 Summit League) were led by Katie Crowe and Sydney Boerst, who each chipped in 13 kills. UND’s Taliyah Flores had nine kills,  seven digs and two block assists. Jordan Vail added nine kills, a dig and a solo rejection; Alivia Fraase 15 digs; and Tamika Brekker seven. Lexi Ahrens had four block assists and a solo rejection. She also had seven kills and three digs. UND plays its final regular season match Friday, playing the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits in Vermillion. (Check out more photos from Russ Hons here.)
