Photographer Dave Bruner shares these contrasting day/night photographs he took this past month in Grand Forks and the surrounding area.
“Sunrise Ice Reflections”: Got out this morning (Dec. 11) before sunrise to capture this beautiful sky that happened in the Grand Forks area.
“Country Frost”: We had some nice frost Wednesday morning (Dec. 13), so I ventured out to take some images as we don’t see it that often in the Grand Forks area. This old barn surrounded by the frosty trees and foliage became the main subject in this composition.
“Getting That Christmas Feeling”: I went out last night (Dec. 23) since it was snowing and took a couple of images in downtown Grand Forks.

“Sun Dogs In The Country”: Went out Friday afternoon (Dec. 28) after seeing that the sun dogs were in the sky. I drove around the countryside and found this old barn, which completed this image.
