RUSS HONS: Photo Gallery — University Of North Dakota Vs. Colorado College

Ludvig Hoff’s goal with just 46 seconds left in overtime gave the University of North Dakota men’s hockey team a 4-3 National Collegiate Hockey Conference win over Colorado College on Friday night in Ralph Engelstad Arena. The Fighting Hawks (10-9-1 overall, 4-5 NCHC) had jumped out to a 2-0 lead on a first-period goal by Nick Jones and a second period tally by Andrew Peski, but Westin Michaud’s goal late in the period cut the lead to 2-1. The Tigers (8-11-2 overall, 2-6-1 NCHC) took the lead in the third period on goals by Erik Middendorf and former Fighting Hawk Chris Wilkie before Jordan Kawaguchi sent the game into overtime with a goal late in the period. UND goaltender Adam Scheel stopped 20 shots, while CC’s Alex Leclerc had 43 saves. The two teams play again tonight. (Check out more photos from Russ Hons here.)
