The area’s newest comedy club, The Prohibition Comedy Room in East Grand Forks, will be in full swing Friday night with some of the Twin Cities most popular comedians providing the laughs. Among them, Ahmed Khalaf, by way of Minneapolis, San Diego and Somali.
Eventually, there will be weekly Friday night comedy shows at the Prohibition. The name, by the way, is an homage to the role East Grand Forks played in Prohibition. (It’s a long story.)
The Prohibition Comedy Room at The Spud Jr is at 306 Demers Ave. in East Grand Forks. Showtime is 8 p.m. Friday, July 9, for those 21 and up. Tickets are $20.
