Riese Gaber and Owen McLaughlin each scored two goals to lead the University of North Dakota men’s hockey team to a 6-4 win over University of Alaska Fairbanks on Friday night in Ralph Engelstad Arena. Cameron Berg and Louis Jamernik V score the other goals for the Fighting Hawks (13-6-1), who snapped a three-game losing streak. The Nanooks (10-8-1) received two goals from Caleb MacDonald and singles from Chase Dubois and Payton Matsui. UND goalie Hobie Hedquist, in his first collegiate start, had 23 saves, while Lassi Lehti and Pierce Charleson combined for 22 saves for Alaska. The two teams meet again tonight.
