The University of North Dakota men’s baseball team, which found out earlier this spring that the sport is being cut at the end of this season, played its final home game Sunday at Kraft Field and lost 7-2 to New Mexico State. Russ Hons were there to record the historic contest, which left the Hawks with a 4-20 record in Western Athletic Conference play and 8-34 overall. UND honored three seniors after the game, Luis Calvo, Daniel Lockhart and Brett DeGagne. UND closes out its season next weekend with a three-game series at Cal State Bakersfield. Check out more photos from Russ Hons here.
