Tanner Mack and Jake Hjelle scored goals 37 seconds apart in the third period to break a scoreless tie and give East Grand Forks Senior High a 2-0 boys high school hockey win over Grand Forks Red River on Thursday night in East Grand Forks Civic Center. The Green Wave (11-1), the the No. 4-ranked team in Minnesota Class A, were 4-0 winners in the first meeting this season with the Roughriders (4-4). In goal, Nate Bradbury of Red River stopped 20 shots, while Tucker Brown had 22 saves for East Grand Forks. (Check out more photos from Russ Hons here.)
