Captain Mark Senden scored a career-best two goals and an assist to lead the University of North Dakota men’s hockey team to a 3-2 win over the University of Minnesota on Saturday night in Ralph Engelstad Arena. The No. 6-ranked Fighting Hawks (10-5) gained a weekend split with the No. 11 Gophers (9-7) after losing 5-1 Friday night. Gavin Hain scored the other UND goal, and Jake Schmaltz had two assists. Ben Meyers and Chaz Lusius) scored goals for Minnesota. UND goalie Zach Driscoll stopped 11 shots, while Minnesota goaltenderJack LaFontaine had 23 saves.
