The UND women’s hockey team’s season ended Saturday with a heartbreaking 4-1 loss to Wisconsin in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association Final Faceoff seminfinals in Ralph Engelstad Arena. UND, which ended its season with a 22-12-3 record, was mathematically eliminated from an at-large bid for the NCAA Tournament. The Badgers, 27-6-4, play Bemidji State (21-16-10) — a 1-0 winner earlier Saturday against the University of Minnesota (31-3-4) — in today’s championship game.
