The University of North Dakota woman’s volleyball team, behind record-setting McKenzie Hart, defeated Big Sky Conference leader Idaho 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-22) on Thursday night in Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. Hart, a senior from Langdon, N.D., set a UND digs record with her 24 against the Vandals. She is now at 1,759, passing Lindsay Vortherms. UND was led on offense by Courtney Place with 14 kills and Chelsea Moser with 11. Sydney Griffin had 33 assists. UND upped its record to 8-7 in the Big Sky and 20-12 overall. Idaho dropped to 10-5 in conference and 13-14 overall. UND hosts Eastern Washington at 11 a.m. Saturday to close out its regular season.
